Day 4 was a half and half day for us. We spent the morning in Animal Kingdom, made a quick afternoon trip to Magic Kingdom, and then had dinner in Epcot. We again arrived early to Animal Kingdom.
We then headed towards Africa to take the Kilamnjaro Safari. On our way we ran into Terk and had a little photo op with him.
We arrived at the safari and really enjoyed it. Here are some photos:
So after the Safari we went to "Its Tough to be a Bug" and after that, we headed back to Magic Kingdom. At MK we had lunch at Tortuga, then we went on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. After that we decided we needed to head home to change for dinner, so we grabbed some Dole Whips on the way out.
Later that night, we went to Epcot to have dinner at Akershus' Royal Princess Dinner. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and the Princesses of course. We met Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and the Fairy Godmother. We got asked twice if we were all sisters and we had fun talking to the Princesses. The Fairy Godmother was probably the most fun to talk to, she asked about us and she kept complimenting and asking my friend Allison about her nails, which she had painted herself and done a fun polka-dot design. It was such a great experience and we all were like little 5 year old girls again.
After dinner we went to Canada and the UK to kill some time before Illuminations. We shopped and played around and then we grabbed a good spot at the bridge between France and the UK. It was a perfect ending to our days at Disney. The next day, we were finishing up at a new park and somewhere that held a special place in our childhood hearts.
